Do you accept Insurance?
Yes. I am currently in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Health Care (Oscar), Carelon, and Aetna. I’m also pending with Iowa Medicaid.
I don’t have insurance or have a high deductible plan with minimal coverage, can I still access services?
Yes, part of ethical practice is ensuring quality mental health services are accessible. I offer private pay rates and a sliding scale fee, for those with financial need.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. Secure telehealth services are available to clients located in Iowa and Missouri. I am also currently pending to provide telehealth services in Florida. In person sessions are available in my office in West Des Moines, IA.
What ages do you work with?
I work with children who are 6 and up, as well as teens, young adults, parents, and families. Having extensive experience working with children helps me support those who are parenting or managing their own childhood experiences/attachment, no matter the age.
How long are sessions?
Most sessions run between 45 and 55 minutes but can be flexible based on availability and need.
Do I have to be Christian to work with you?
No. I welcome clients from all faith backgrounds and those with no religious affiliation. Faith integration is always optional and based on each client’s preferences. Evidence-based modalities are utilized no matter the background.
